Assalamu Alaikum everyone! We are pleased to share the Annual Report & Fundraising Appeal for the academic year 2025–26 from Siddika Primary School and Aisha Siddika Secondary School, Jogwad — a school that has been quietly transforming rural lives through education for decades. This report captures the school's remarkable achievements, its students' journeys, and the continued need for your generous support. 📄 The information presented in this post has been taken from the official Annual Report & Fundraising Appeal • Academic Year 2025–26, supported by the Jogwad Education & Welfare Trust (UK Registered Charity No. 1207354). Siddika Primary School and Aisha Siddika Secondary School is located in Jogwad, Ta. Chikhli, Dist. Navsari, Gujarat, India. Registered with the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) and entirely self-financed, the school provides high-quality education at minimal fees — because every child deserves a future, regardless of their family's circumstances. A central part of its mission is ensuring that girls and young women from the community have access to a safe, nurturing environment in which to learn and grow. Many students come from farming and labouring families where girls' education has historically been limited. Fee waivers, free textbooks, and uniform support ensure that no family's financial situation stands in the way of their daughter's education. 504 Students Enrolled 100% Board Pass Rate 52+ Alumni in Higher Education 23 Villages Served 5th Consecutive Year of 100% HSC Pass Rate “Over the years, I have seen children from farming families — children whose parents never studied beyond primary school — complete their SSC, go on to do their HSC, and then enter university to qualify as nurses, engineers, and pharmacists. Being the first in their family to reach that milestone is something no words can fully describe. This school makes that possible.” — Mohmedali H. Aswat, Managing Trustee, Aisha Siddika School For the fifth consecutive year, Aisha Siddika Secondary School achieved a 100% pass rate in the GSEB HSC Class 12 Commerce examination. The SSC Class 10 returned an outstanding 97.22% overall result, with 13 students named in the top-performing cohort, all achieving the A2 grade. High-achieving students were presented with trophies at a special ceremony, and the entire Class 10 and 12 cohort was rewarded with a celebratory day trip to Mumbai — a promise kept by the school's trustee. Students travel from 23 villages across Navsari district — some covering considerable distances each day — reflecting the trust their families place in the education provided here. The school's first Class 12 cohort graduated in 2022. In just a few years, former students have gone on to universities and workplaces across Gujarat. The profiles below illustrate the kind of outcomes that a good secondary education — and the support of donors — makes possible. B.Pharm Graduate • Gujarat Technological University Marufa completed her secondary education at Aisha Siddika School before going on to study pharmacy at Gujarat Technological University. She graduated with a CGPA of 9.39 out of 10 — a result that placed her among the top performers in her programme. At the university's 15th Annual Convocation, she was awarded a Certificate of Merit in recognition of her academic excellence. She is now a reference point for younger students and their families when thinking about what higher education can lead to. Computer Engineering Graduate • Technology Professional Ameena studied at Aisha Siddika School during a period when access to technology and digital education in rural Gujarat was far from guaranteed. Despite this, she went on to pursue a degree in computer engineering and has since built a professional career in the technology industry. Her journey reflects a broader trend among the school's alumni — an increasing number of young women are now entering fields such as software, IT, and engineering, sectors that were rarely considered accessible for students from villages like those served by this school. Since the first Class 12 cohort graduated in 2022, former students have progressed into universities and colleges across Gujarat — pursuing degrees in commerce, engineering, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and more. A number have already graduated and entered professional employment. A full academic calendar of events builds character, civic pride, and spiritual grounding alongside academic achievement. The goal is to extend this further, ensuring all students have access to modern teaching tools that prepare them for higher education and the workplace. 🎓 Scholarships & Higher Education Pathways Increasing the number of students supported in the transition from secondary school to college or university — through fee assistance, guidance, and connections with alumni who have already made that journey. 👩🎓 Continuing to Champion Girls' Education This remains at the heart of what the school does — creating an environment where families feel confident sending their daughters to school, and where those daughters leave with the qualifications and ambition to build careers of their own. Siddika Primary School and Aisha Siddika Secondary School receive no government grant and no institutional funding. The school is run entirely through community contributions and the generosity of donors — many of them connected to Jogwad and the surrounding villages through family ties or a shared sense of responsibility. Fees are kept deliberately low because the families they serve cannot afford more. In many cases, the school absorbs the cost of textbooks, stationery, and uniforms so that a child's education is not interrupted by a difficult month at home. Every contribution to this school is a form of Sadaqah Jariyah — a continuing charity. When a child learns to read, completes her exams, enters university, qualifies as a nurse or an engineer, and then raises her own children with the value of education — the reward of that original act of giving continues. There is no more lasting investment.
