A Journey from Small Start to Big Dreams
In Jogwad village, there is a special place called Sherdiwala (Aswat) Goat Farm. This farm is run by two hardworking people – Mahmadali Aswat and his son Talha Aswat. Their journey started with a small idea, and today, many people know their farm for healthy and natural goats.
🐐 How It All Started
In the year 2017, Mahmadali and Talha kept 4 goats for Bakr-Eid (Eid-ul-Adha). It was just a small try. They wanted to see how people would respond. The goats were sold, and the response was good.
In 2018, they kept 10 goats for Eid. Again, the people were happy, and this gave them confidence.
In 2019, they started the farm properly with 20 goats. It was a big step, and they were able to sell all the goats successfully. That moment gave them hope and a clear goal — to build a real goat farm.
🏡 The Growth of the Farm
After 2019, Sherdiwala (Aswat) Goat Farm became more active. Mahmadali and Talha started to advertise the farm and sell goats outside Jogwad too. Many people from nearby villages came and bought goats from them. In total, they sold around 60 goats.
Now, in 2025, they have about 40 goats ready for Qurbani. All the goats are healthy and strong.
🍃 Natural Way of Raising Goats
One special thing about Sherdiwala (Aswat) Goat Farm is that they never use any medicine or chemical food to make the goats grow fast.
They feed the goats with natural food like grass, leaves, grains, and other things that goats eat in the village. This makes the goats healthy and natural.
🐏 Types of Goats at the Farm
The farm has different types of goats, such as:
• Sojati
• Hyderabadi
• Punjabi
• Gujarati
• Desi (local)
Each goat is raised with care and love. Mahmadali and Talha always make sure the goats stay clean and safe.
